FocusList is a daily planning and task management app developed and provided by Lemora Technology Limited ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, used, stored, and shared when you use FocusList and contact us.
FocusList stores the task information you enter, including task titles, dates, times, repeat settings, and reminder settings. This information is stored in the app's local database on your device and is used to display and manage your schedules.
FocusList does not require you to create an account. The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not upload your task database or calendar contents to servers operated by Lemora Technology Limited.
FocusList requests permission to read and write your device calendar to support calendar events and reminders associated with your schedules.
When you grant these permissions, FocusList accesses the Android calendar provider to find an available calendar and to create, update, or delete events and reminders associated with tasks you manage in the app. Calendar access is used for these scheduling features, not for advertising or profiling.
You may deny or revoke calendar permissions in your device's Android settings. Features that depend on calendar access may not work without these permissions.
Calendar information is processed through your device's calendar provider. If the selected calendar belongs to a synced account, your calendar provider may synchronize events to its servers or your other devices according to your account settings and that provider's privacy policy.
FocusList uses Internet access to display this hosted privacy policy. Loading the webpage sends ordinary web-request information, such as your IP address, browser or WebView information, and the requested page, to the website's hosting and content-delivery providers. These providers may process technical access logs to deliver and secure the webpage.
Opening the privacy-policy webpage does not upload your task database or calendar contents.
If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, provide support, and address privacy requests. Email communications are processed through the email service providers involved in delivering and storing those messages.
Please avoid including sensitive task or calendar information unless it is necessary for your request.
We do not sell your personal information or share your task or calendar contents with advertisers or analytics providers.
Information may be processed by the service providers described in this policy, including website hosting and content-delivery providers, email providers, and your chosen Android backup or calendar providers. Their processing is subject to their applicable terms, privacy policies, and your settings.
We may disclose information we hold, such as support correspondence, where required by applicable law or necessary to respond to a lawful request.
FocusList stores its local task database in app-private storage protected by Android's application sandbox. Calendar events are stored by Android's calendar provider and are subject to your device and calendar account settings. The hosted privacy policy is accessed over HTTPS.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You can help protect your information by keeping your device updated, using a screen lock, and reviewing your calendar and backup settings.
Depending on your Android settings, the operating system may include FocusList's local app data in a device backup or device-to-device transfer. These features are controlled by Android and your chosen backup provider and are subject to their privacy policies.
You can manage available backup options through your device and backup-provider settings. Deleting local app data may not immediately remove copies retained in existing backups.
Your local task data remains on your device until you delete it within FocusList, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Restoring a device backup may restore previously backed-up data.
Calendar events are stored separately from the app's local database. Events already created by FocusList may remain after you clear app data or uninstall the app. You can remove remaining events through your calendar app. Synced copies and backups are managed according to your calendar and backup providers' settings and policies.
Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle your inquiry and any related legal obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of information you have provided to us. Website access-log retention depends on the hosting and content-delivery services used to operate the policy webpage.
You can edit or delete tasks within FocusList, manage calendar permissions in Android settings, and manage calendar synchronization and device backups through the relevant provider settings.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email liw520092@gmail.com. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law and may need information to verify the request.
We cannot directly access or delete task data that exists only on your device. You can manage that data using the app or Android settings as described above.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to FocusList or its data practices. The current version will be available at the privacy-policy URL above, and the "Last updated" date will indicate when it was revised. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
